We launch “NOSFERATU IN LOVE”, by Les Bouffons, a fantastic comic physical theatre show, created and performed by Pablo Gomis, clown currently with the Cirque du soleil and directed by Antón Valén, one of the most prestigious clowns and pedagogues in Europe, reviving once again the classic myth.
The character of Nosferatu is rescued from the cinema and transformed, in a comic way, into a romantic and not very lucky monster, and who guides us through a world of love, loneliness, and, most of all, failure. In this show we explore Nosferatu’s need for love and being loved as the main impulse for living. No matter how monstrous he is, he still needs to fulfil his deep and innermost desire to find love and form a couple. The main conflict is that our protagonist wants to enjoy a normal life, find love, live as a couple, but he is his own enemy, and that is because he cannot avoid being who he is…
