“All for one” is a poetic recital of Agustín García Calvo’s texts, performed and directed by Ester Bellver. It will open in Palencia on the 16th June and then it will be performed from 15 to 29 of July in Barcelona (at 9pm at Sala Porta4, at the central Barrio de Gracia, Carrer de l’Església, 6, next to Plaza Virreina). In the performance we jump from prose to poetry and from song and romance to drama. Everything is born from Ester Bellver’s love for the work of this author she so much admires. She wants to bring his work to a wider audience.
Agustín García Calvo has written a huge amount of dramatic work, from which only one, “Don Pedro’s deck of cards” has been performed (National Theatre Award 2000) at the Abadía Theatre. From the solitude of a solo voice on stage, Esther Bellver gives life to characters that, until now, have been sleeping in the pages of books, waiting for someone to bring them to life on stage.

Making the most of “Staragony”’s latest performances and audiences, several readings of “All for one” have been made. These readings, a collection of sensations and experiences, have helped the dramaturgy and the staging of Ester Bellver’s new piece.
