The company “aSOMBRAS” from Madrid, prepares for Christmas the premiere of his new creation "Wings," a show of shadows oriented to the smallest members and for the whole family.

After "Shadows of the World", this young but interesting troupe brings a new line of work in the studio specialized in shadows research. The creators, Alexandra  Eseverri and Iñigo Postlethwaite,  traveled around a world to study the art of shadow, building his own world, researching and teaching workshops, being today one of the most important companies in Spain in this ancient technique.

“Wings” means desire to fly, is to find the way to do so, is not the time to give up but at the same time to surrender to the forces of the powerful and ruthless nature. A visual spectacle that combines gestural work, body shadows dance and shadow puppetry.

Poetic imagery, delicate music and expressive sound elements tell us this story filled with humor, surprises and depth in which touches deeply both adults and children.
