The new creation by Pablo Vergne is scheduled to premiere at FETEN next Tuesday, February 19 at CC Antiguo Instituto (Room 2B - 10am, 4:30pm and 6:30pm), and will continue at the TEATRALIA Festival in Madrid during the month of March, also taking part of the shows within the Meeting of Teatralia professionals.
This new version of Snow White is a puppet theater show based on the classic tale that combines the poetic and the comic, resorting to various stage languages such as dance, masks, puppets, music and theater of objects. The dramaturgy, in turn, surprises by giving unexpected twists to the classic tale in a funny and humorous way, but always with a poetic touch. The plastic along with the sound space are loaded with symbols that touch the emotions of the viewer, generating varied and contrasting atmospheres. All of this is masterfully performed by the actress-dancer-puppeteer Alba Vergne who gives character and charm to the characters. A different Snow White who seeks to free herself, faithful to her most essential nature.
