La Canica

La Canica was founded in 2005 by Eva Soriano (actress, visual artist, and art director) with the aim of creating multidisciplinary performances based on puppetry and objects. With a special emphasis on performance and the exploration of materials and other stage resources, the company seeks to construct characters and stories that resonate with the world of childhood.

The company brings together professionals from various artistic disciplines (theater, dance, visual arts, music, etc.), striving to develop its own unique stage language—a language that creates a space where puppetry and theater, the body and objects, meet.

Their shows have been enthusiastically and warmly received by audiences and cultural programmers alike, and have garnered numerous awards.
