“Kalek, Story of a Horse” of El Retablo, created, interpreted and directed by Pablo Vergne, will be at the festival. It will be at Casa Encendida on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March at 12 noon, within the prestigious Teatralia Festival. The career of this foal in Teatralia does not end there, it will come to a close. as far as Villanueva de la Cañada, Arganda del Rey, Móstoles, Alcalá; de Henares, San Sebastián de los Reyes and Leganés, being one of the shows recommended by Unima within the entire Festival programme. This show just premiered last Christmas at the Teatro Bretón de Logroño's Puppet Festival and very soon we will give the news that it will be able to be released. It will be seen in upcoming Fairs and Festivals of recognized prestige.

Kalek is a wild foal that grows and gallops freely with his mother. One day he is caught and tamed by men and he begins to fight. He began serving various owners until he ended up in a circus doing capers and other circus tests. Every night, locked in his stable, Kalek dreams of once again being free as the wind. The show combines the poetic and the comic where the leading role falls on the puppets, the theater of objects and music. The original dramaturgy by Pablo Vergne overflows with tenderness and depth in this beautiful story about freedom.
