ALICE

Created by PABLO VERGNE within his company EL RETABLO, "ALICIA" is a dance-theater show based on "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.
Two actresses use dances, masks, objects and other theatrical resources to stage some of the scenes from the English story. Alicia must realize the last and definitive childhood dream, the dream in which she has to face the world of adults, not to see it from the outside, but to enter it. A world that is both attractive and repellent, mysterious and pedestrian, rational and profoundly absurd. Facing this world is for Alicia an adventure full of challenges and questions.
We plunge with Alicia into a sudden and endless fall, it is not clear if it evokes an intersideral trip, the trauma of birth or our daily immersion in the world of dreams. Her involuntary fall into the protagonist's void leads her to make a pilgrimage through an imaginary country, from which she later returns to reality.
