24H SIDE STORY
24H Side Story is the production and staging in 24 hours of a version of the musical West Side Story adapted to each municipality and starring its inhabitants. Community Musical Theater to be shared by all citizens.
An opportunity to put your municipality in the spotlight, a challenge that focuses its activity on the creation process, where the participants live in an express way a process of rehearsals and premiere of a musical in 24 hours, the experience allows us to talk about the identity of the city and links us socially and culturally. The proposal is directly related to the feeling of community and citizenship; a massive event that invites the participation of all social and generational profiles, promoting transversality between the amateur and the professional within the framework of a creation process, of the preparation of an artistic activity.
On behalf of Ensamble Producciones, 17 professionals will participate in the project: 2 actors, 2 stage directors, 2 choreographers, 1 musical director, 3 musicians, 3 cameras/directors, 3 light and sound technicians, 2 stage managers and Production.
On the part of the city council, the activity is projected so that from 20 to a maximum of 200 people participate, it will depend on the dimensions of the stage space where the musical is represented.
